written by Sharon Pierce McCullough | Our grandkids recently went to a great Safari Park, which is a great option when grandparents are trying to think of a fun outdoor place to go. Most Safari Parks have a drive-through section, where you can get up “close and personal” with real wild animals, zebras, giraffe, antelopes, buffalo, camels and more. Some of the parks also have petting and feeding sections, giving kids another chance to get close to the animals. If you don’t want to drive to a Safari Park, check out your local Zoo or one that is close by. Kids always enjoy the zoo and most adults do too. It’s a fun outing to get close to nature and also get some exercise. Oh … and you also get to connect with the grandkids ! Leave a message for Sharon below.
